Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 6, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of ServiceSift through service-sift.com and any related report delivery, dashboard access, and support services.
By purchasing or using ServiceSift, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who You Are Contracting With
You are contracting with Dane Dykman d/b/a ServiceSift, a sole proprietor based in South Ogden, Utah 84405.
In these Terms, “ServiceSift,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Dane Dykman d/b/a ServiceSift.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use ServiceSift.
If you purchase ServiceSift for a business, you represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of that business and to bind that business to these Terms.
If you do not meet these requirements, do not purchase or use ServiceSift.
3. What You Are Purchasing
ServiceSift is a one-time purchase product priced at $49. There is no subscription.
What you are buying is a one-time AI-generated HTML operations report based on the public Google Maps reviews of a business URL that you submit at checkout.
Your purchase includes:
- processing of the submitted Google Maps business URL,
- AI analysis of the public review data collected for that URL,
- delivery of the generated HTML report by email and by private unique URL,
- access to a dashboard at service-sift.com/dashboard through a Supabase magic link sent to the purchaser email.
Your purchase does not include ongoing consulting, monitoring, future updates to the report, human review, or continuing subscription access.
4. How the Service Works
In plain terms, the ServiceSift process works like this:
- You submit a Google Maps business URL at checkout.
- You complete payment through Stripe.
- After payment, ServiceSift uses Apify to scrape the publicly visible Google reviews associated with the submitted business URL.
- The review data is sent to the Anthropic Claude API for AI analysis.
- ServiceSift generates an HTML operations report based on that analysis.
- The report is delivered to the email address used at Stripe checkout and made available through a private unique URL.
- A Supabase magic link is sent to the purchaser email, which provides access to a dashboard at service-sift.com/dashboard.
The service depends on third-party systems and internet availability. Because of that, delivery times and successful processing can vary.
5. Third-Party Dependencies and No Uptime Guarantee
ServiceSift depends on third-party vendors and infrastructure, including:
- Stripe for payments,
- Apify for public review scraping,
- Anthropic Claude API for AI analysis,
- Supabase for database, authentication, and file storage,
- Resend for transactional email.
ServiceSift also depends on the continued availability of public Google review data and normal internet and vendor operations.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, uptime, instant processing, instant email delivery, or error-free performance. Delays, downtime, failed processing, incomplete scraping, vendor outages, rate limits, blocked requests, email delivery issues, or other third-party failures may affect the service.
If a third-party issue prevents successful fulfillment through no fault of your own, our remedy will generally be to reprocess the order or offer a refund under Section 10.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Important: ServiceSift reports are AI-generated. They may contain errors, omissions, incorrect interpretations, or inaccurate summaries.
No human review of report content occurs.
The report is generated automatically from public review data using third-party AI systems. Because of that:
- statements in the report may be incomplete or incorrect,
- trends or root causes identified by the AI may be mistaken,
- recommendations may not fit your actual business circumstances,
- quoted or summarized review content may be imperfectly interpreted,
- the report may miss context that a human analyst would catch.
You are responsible for using independent judgment before relying on any report content or taking action based on it.
7. No Professional Advice
ServiceSift reports are provided for general informational purposes only.
They are not legal advice, accounting advice, tax advice, HR advice, employment advice, regulatory advice, financial advice, or professional business advice of any kind.
Your purchase of a ServiceSift report does not create any advisor, consultant, attorney-client, accountant-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and ServiceSift.
8. No Outcome Guarantee
ServiceSift does not guarantee any business result from using the report.
We do not promise that the report will:
- increase revenue,
- reduce costs,
- improve reviews,
- improve operations,
- improve hiring or retention,
- prevent customer complaints,
- produce any specific operational outcome,
- produce any return on investment.
Any suggestions, examples, opportunities, or operational ideas in a report are not guarantees of future performance.
9. Fulfillment and Delivery
ServiceSift orders are typically fulfilled within 40 to 120 seconds after payment, although vendor delays may extend this window.
Delivery is made by:
- email to the address used at Stripe checkout, and
- a private unique URL where the report can be viewed.
After purchase, a Supabase magic link is also sent to the purchaser email to provide access to service-sift.com/dashboard.
You are responsible for:
- entering a valid email address at checkout,
- checking your inbox, spam, junk, promotions, and filtered folders,
- ensuring your email system can receive transactional messages.
Fulfillment is considered complete when we send the report email and/or make the report available at its private unique URL, even if your email provider delays or filters delivery.
10. Refund and Cancellation Policy
ServiceSift offers a 7-day money-back guarantee.
To request a refund, you must email support@servicesift.com within 7 days of purchase. No form is required.
Refund eligibility depends on whether processing completed.
If scraping or AI generation failed through no fault of the customer, we will offer either:
- a refund, or
- reprocessing of the order.
Because ServiceSift is a one-time digital product that begins processing after payment, we may deny refund requests where processing successfully completed and the report was delivered, except where a refund is otherwise required by law or where we choose to grant one.
You may contact us at support@servicesift.com or 801-529-4805 with refund questions.
11. Report Access and Security
Each report is made available through a private unique URL.
Important product limitation: the report URL is not user-gated by session. That means anyone with the URL can view the report. This is a known product limitation.
By purchasing ServiceSift, you acknowledge and accept that:
- the private unique URL functions like a secret link,
- the report is not protected by a required logged-in session to view the report itself,
- forwarding, sharing, exposing, or losing control of the URL may allow other people to access the report,
- access may also occur through email forwarding, shared inboxes, compromised email accounts, browser history, copied links, or other sharing behavior.
You are responsible for safeguarding the private unique URL and controlling who receives it.
We are not responsible for access by any person who obtains the URL from you, from your email environment, from a forwarded message, from a shared device, or from any other source outside our direct control.
Dashboard access at service-sift.com/dashboard is authenticated through a Supabase magic link sent to the purchaser email, but dashboard authentication does not change the fact that the report URL itself is viewable by anyone who has it.
12. Customer Responsibilities and Input Warranty
You are responsible for the information you provide to us, including the Google Maps business URL submitted at checkout.
You represent and warrant that:
- the URL you submit is accurate and intended for processing,
- the business URL points to a business listing with publicly visible Google Maps reviews,
- you have the legal right and practical authority to purchase the report for your own use or for the business you represent,
- your purchase and use of the report will comply with applicable law,
- you will not submit misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, or intentionally incorrect information.
You understand that ServiceSift relies on the URL you provide. We are not responsible for failed or inaccurate results caused by an incorrect, broken, private, inaccessible, mismatched, or unsupported URL.
13. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You may use ServiceSift only for lawful purposes.
You may not:
- use ServiceSift in violation of any law or regulation,
- use ServiceSift to harass, defame, stalk, or harm others,
- attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the website, dashboard, or related systems,
- reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the service to build a competing product,
- resell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit ServiceSift reports except for your own internal business use,
- use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated methods against service-sift.com in a way that harms the service,
- misrepresent your identity, your authority, or your connection to a business,
- claim any affiliate, referral, reseller, agency, or partnership relationship with ServiceSift.
ServiceSift does not have an affiliate, referral, or reseller program.
We may suspend or refuse service where we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or presents legal, technical, or abuse risk.
14. Intellectual Property
ServiceSift and its website, branding, software, workflows, report templates, design, text, graphics, and underlying systems are owned by Dane Dykman d/b/a ServiceSift or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the report we generate for your own personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
- copy or republish the ServiceSift website or report template as your own,
- remove branding or proprietary notices,
- sell or license the report to third parties as a standalone product,
- use ServiceSift output to operate a competing analysis or report-generation service.
Public Google reviews and third-party platform content remain the property of their respective owners. ServiceSift does not claim ownership of third-party review content.
15. Warranty Disclaimer
ServiceSift is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that:
- the service will always be available,
- processing will always succeed,
- the report will be accurate or complete,
- the report will meet your expectations,
- any errors will be corrected,
- email delivery will be immediate or successful,
- the service will be compatible with every business situation.
Some laws may not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so parts of this section apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ServiceSift and Dane Dykman d/b/a ServiceSift will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, or reputation arising out of or related to your purchase or use of ServiceSift.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of ServiceSift and Dane Dykman d/b/a ServiceSift for any claim arising out of or related to a specific order or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for that order, which for a standard ServiceSift purchase is $49.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory involved, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if we were advised of the possibility of damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dane Dykman d/b/a ServiceSift from and against any third-party claims, demands, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:
- your breach of these Terms,
- your misuse of ServiceSift,
- your violation of law,
- your violation of any rights of another person or business,
- inaccurate, misleading, or unauthorized information you submit,
- your sharing or misuse of a report or private report URL.
18. Privacy Policy Incorporation by Reference
Your use of ServiceSift is also subject to our Privacy Policy, as posted on service-sift.com.
The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information in connection with ServiceSift. By purchasing or using ServiceSift, you also agree to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding service terms, these Terms control.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we do, we will post the updated version on service-sift.com and update the Effective Date above.
Unless required by law, changes will apply prospectively. The Terms in effect at the time of your purchase will generally govern that purchase.
Your continued use of ServiceSift after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future use.
20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to ServiceSift or these Terms will be resolved in accordance with this section, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.
